Drive Through Worship Experience

First Christian Church 112 East College Street, Georgetown, KY, United States

Enter the Clinton Street Parking Lot from Clinton Street anytime between 10:00-11:00 a.m. that Sunday morning. You’ll get to experience being greeted by familiar church faces, live hymns, a time of prayer with Chris, and communion led by our Elders (bring your own communion elements), all from your car as you pass through the lot. You can also bring food items for the AMEN House and place them in the wagon at the lot entrance. The experience will take 10 minutes or so- if there is a wait to get into the lot, please pull over and do not block Clinton Street traffic.

Kids Group

Our Kids Group will meet in person on the side lawn of the church on September 9. Please wear a mask, be prepared for social distancing and accompany your child. Kids Group is open to children in K-5th grades, but we are asking all of our preschool friends to join us.

Share the Harvest

It's September, and we are all yearning for an opportunity to fellowship with one another again. With an emphasis on safety, we will have the chance this month! Our annual Share the Harvest day of gleaning at Evans Orchard will take place on Saturday, September 19th (rain date 9/26) from 8:30-10:30 am! To hold the event safely, we'll follow health guidelines, including: Wear a mask if closer than 6 feet from anyone outside of your family unit and at all times when inside the store. Please bring your own water and hand sanitizer. Carpool only with your own family. If fields are muddy, Evans will provide socially distanced hayrides to the fields. Wear garden gloves to handle bags of picked produce while loading vehicles. To sign up or if questions, please contact Judy Kushner at silkworm@judykushnerartdesigns.com Just provide your NAME, PHONE NUMBER, EMAIL ADDRESS so that we will know to look for you in Evans' lot by the store the morning of Share the Harvest or to reschedule if it rains. Looking forward to spending time together as we help our neighbors suffering with food insecurity during these days. ~ Service and Outreach Committee
